The bumpy re-entry into a new year sometimes demands a song like this. By Guelph, Ont., brothers Evan and Geordie Gordon and featuring the voice of Sylvie Smith (who’s also a member of Evening Hymns), it may sound a bit like Feist Jr., but she hasn’t been making these kinds of songs lately, so why not let the next generation step in? This cheers me as much as anything lately besides that Solange track, but that was already on Girls this week, so let’s invoke The Magic.
